Questions about the base vehicle

What is the mileage? What is the service history? Has it had any accident damage? What is the current MOT status? For a new conversion, ask what age and specification of base vehicle is being used — a new or nearly-new van is a significant part of what you are paying for.

Questions about the conversion quality

Who did the conversion? Is there a paper trail? What insulation has been used and where? How is the furniture fixed — mechanically fastened or adhesive? Questions about the electrical system

What is the leisure battery capacity and type — AGM or lithium? What solar panel output is fitted? Is there an MPPT controller? How does the battery charge from the alternator?
